"Green Dot is an engaging program. I love the activity-based workshops that really teach you the dynamics of power-based personal violence, ways to recognize potentially harmful situations, and practical ways to intervene."

"I attended Green Dot training hosted by Green Dot to become a trainer on my campus, and it as an excellent training. It is interactive, fun, useful, and reasonable. The feedback we've received from our campus community has been incredibly positive, and we have been able to use Green Dot concepts in other education that we provide on campus."

"We have implemented Green Dot beginning in 2015 on our campus with tremendous results. The philosophy of the program resonantes well with our student body. While we would still like to see the training materials be less heteronormative and more inclusive of all intersectional identities, the underlying message about being engaged (proactively and reactively) in the prevention of personal violence is a crucial message for our students, staff, and faculty."

"I have found that Green Dot is a great way to engage college students. Our university has a very strong sense of community, and it helps to engage students in how they might help out their fellow Cougs who are in trouble."

"Green Dot Bystander Intervention is a powerful, engaging, and easily-accessible program that gives student participants: contextual knowledge on the problem of power-based personal violence, a sense of personal responsibility to take action, and tangible skills to intervene safely as an active bystander. Pros: Meets students where they are at; highly engaging and interactive; offers a well-organized and scaffolded learning structure around understanding and responding to the problem; builds in role-playing and active practice through real-life scenarios; is easily adaptable to teams, student orgs, etc. Areas for growth: The content itself doesn't meaningfully dig into issues of power, control, privilege, and oppression around social identities or intersectionality. Our facilitators on campus have needed to create their own opportunities to discuss more nuanced issues (like a white student calling the police when black students are involved, violence against trans or gender-nonconforming individuals or within the queer community, etc.). Also, the training sessions are LONG."

"The Green Dot Bystander program has been a wonderful addition to our campus community. It appeals to students by providing them with practical approaches to intervening in difficult situations. It is designed to "meet participants where they are" in their understanding of these issues; particularly around rape and violence mythology and creates a space that is not confrontational but rather, solutions based on how to stop violence in our communities when we see it. I really enjoy the way it empowers participants and inspires them to hope that their efforts, no matter how small, are making a difference. The program has different delivery options and the parent company offers a lot of great support."

"Green Dot has been a valuable program for our campus and has been a great addition to our multi-tiered approach to prevention education. Green Dot's curriculum is a research-informed and evidence-based, which is particularly critical for ensuring prevention best practice. The content is engaging and does a good job of shifting the focus on to bystanders and the role that we ALL play every day in preventing violence, whether it is witnessing a harmful situation or interrupting problematic attitudes, assumptions or beliefs. At our institution, we have found the need to modify Green Dot's approach to outreach and tailor some of the content for our student population to ensure it aligns with our social justice lens."

"Green Dot has been a great tool on our campus for engaging students on the conversation of power based personal violence prevention. It's "everyone is responsible for preventing it" approach has been great for engaging men without making them feel like they are part of the problem. It also acknowledges that faculty and staff are a part of the campus culture as well so we can't just look at students to solve these problems."
