Program Summary

Keys to Courage is the first and only awareness program designed to address the unique history of Black Greek Letter Organizations, new NCAA requirements for athletes and other affinity groups.

The primary goal of Keys to Courage is to reduce the bystander effect among college students related to sexual misconduct and relationship violence.

This goal is accomplished by deploying content that will encourage healthy relationships, provide a testimony about the impact of sexual assault from a victim’s perspective, increase ability to negotiate consent and know when consent is absent, as well as provide strategies for safe active bystander behavior.

Keys to Courage is one of multiple products and services provided by Alegria Technologies, LLC. Alegria’s mission is to utilize technology and consulting to restore the joy of victims of violence. Keys to Courage was developed as a training tool to prevent interpersonal violence. Keys to Coping is an online sexual or domestic assault reporting tool.
